Incredible Book! Ednah Blows me away time and time again with every new book I read and this one I have to say is my new favourite! I thought Torin was the ultimate hottie but Echo!!!! WOW!!! Ednah has been blessed with the ability to captivate her audience in a way few I have read before, I read this book in a couple of hours and I couldn't stop! it was like I was possessed I had to know what was going to happen next and I couldn't stop no matter what!
Cora life has been turned upside down, ever since the incident in the school pool involving her friend Raine. Cora has been seeing ghosts, the spirits follow her, frighten her and show up at the worst times possible. Her parents think she is loopy and sent to the the crazy house and none of her friends have even visited her! and then there is the strange, hot and incredibly sexy guy that keeps appearing, saying they know each other, that he is a grimmir, a reaper of the souls, and that they have gotten close and personal together. Cora isn't sure if he is crazier than she is but he is too damn hot for it to really matter and when he is around it keeps the ghosts at bay.
When the Goddess Hell puts out a hit on Cora every reaper in the world comes out of the woodwork to capture her, the only thing standing in their way? Echo, the crazy reaper who said they knew one another and her friends. Can they keep her safe from a freakin' Goddess? and what does the Goddess Hell want with her?
I have been blessed to be part of each of the runes releases and each book has been better then the next, Ednah is such a talented and gripping writer who knows what it takes to drive her readers to the edge wanting more. She has quickly become a favourite of mine, a great friend and I have loved working with her! Runes is one of the best series of 2013 and I can't wait to read more in the future!
My favourite Character in this one was Echo! he was so awesome! the ultimate of bad boys. I loved getting to know Cora more in this book, I really liked her character and I hope we get to hear more of Cora and Echo's story!

EXCERPT
“Now see what you made me do.” I eased off the brake. Ahead, Dad’s truck was nowhere in sight.
“Sorry about that,” Echo said, but he didn’t sound or look it. He reached out and lifted the hair on my right shoulder.
I swatted at his hand. “Stop that.”
“Can’t help it.” He planted a kiss on my neck. The car swayed as I momentarily lost control.
“I’m serious. Quit messing with me, Echo.”
“You smell amazing.” He trailed kisses up my neck to my ear and inhaled.
The sensations that invaded my body were downright frightening. Not even Eirik had ever made me feel like this. If I could forget Echo was a lunatic and I was losing my mind, I would have enjoyed the sensation.
I reached up and tried to push his head away, but it was like moving a boulder. Worse, my hand sunk into his hair. It was silky, and for one brief moment, I wanted to run my fingers through it, maybe hold his head in place and savor the moment.
He bit my ear. I squealed and, once again, lost control of the car. “Dang it, Echo. We could get into an accident.”
“But we self-heal.”
I self-healed, too? Nice. No, not nice. I refused to start buying into his crazy assumptions. “I could hurt someone.”
“There’re just Mortals. If it’s their time to go, it’s their time to go. No force of nature can stop that. No, that’s not true. Norns could. You look breathtaking this morning. Love that shade of red on you. Very vampy. What is it you once told me? Red gives you the extra oomph when you are having a shitty day.”
The only person who knew that was Raine. “Who told you that?”

EDNAH WALTERS grew up reading Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys and dreaming of one day writing her own stories. She is a stay-at-home mother of five humans and two American short-hair cats (one of which has ADHD) and a husband.
