WW4BB Presents: A Review of Lust by Karina Espinosa

Posted by wiccawitch4 on 6:14:00 am

Another death, kidnapping, and the arrival of a not-so-new Nephilim; Maximillion has reached his tipping point. With the consequences of his actions looming in the darkness, the Nephilim of Wrath may have another threat to worry about—himself.

When Max is approached by The Wanderer in regards to a mutual adversary, he will have to make a deal with the devil to save the only family he has left—even if it means infiltrating enemy territory without the aid of his friends. And leaving them in the hands of Sienna, the Nephilim of Lust.

Will this temporary truce with The Wanderer buy him more time, or speed up his prophesied demise? Can he trust Greed or Lust?

Alliances will be formed, teams will be chosen, and questions will be answered in the third installment of the Sins of the Fallen series.

The lines between good and evil are clear—and sometimes it feels good to be bad…

My Review

Lust by Karina Espinosa
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was given to me by the Author In Exchange For an Honest Review.

This story was amazing and probably my favorite of the three so far in this series! Max takes on his most dangerous and most perilous adventure yet. Max is one of the best characters I have come across in a series, he has grown up fast, been self reliant, and has leaned on others when necessary to get the job done. There hasn't been a whole lot of sobbing about his life being torn in two even though it was, although he hasn't just gone with the flow all the time either. Max has flourished with a grace few characters before him have done and he comes out on top in this one in my opinion a better and stronger than ever man.

Karina Espinosa is a beautiful writer and this series is one of my all time favorites! Her characters are diverse and the enemies around them never stop. They are complicated, twisted, dark and driven in this one, and I felt like I was consistently on the edge of my seat waiting for the next tragedy to happen. We meet The Wanderer and the Wild Hunt in this book, both formidable foes! I didn't know who to be scared of most! Karina makes her villains to be the best! Villains at times are the best part of the story and when they are tied in so tightly with the heroes like this one, at times you don't know who the good guys are and who the bad are!

We got to see more of Georgia in this one as well although not as much as I had hoped as she is always on the run and a whole lot of crazy...lol....it was still great to see her help as much as she could to help her fellow Nephilim. I loved getting to know more about Sienna though, we get to see why she is so damaged and forlorn. Her need to be loved, and her need for acceptance from others stems from a dark and hurtful past.

I totally couldn't believe the ending! Karina you sly minx you! I totally can't believe you ended it that way and I have to say I totally banged my head on the bed when I got to the end....lol....I couldn't believe it was over! I can't wait till the next one to see what happens so get writing! LOL

Don’t miss out on this totally brilliant series! Karina is a wonderful and creative writer! Her characters are diverse and her world like no other! Trust me you don't want to miss it! Get your copies today!
