My Review
Justice Buried by Hilary ThompsonMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
The is was a amazing story! As a wiccan I have studied the Zodiac for long time and never have I seen it put to such a unique, creative and beautiful use! Hilary Thompson is a brilliant author and I loved this story so much! I couldn't put it down for a second. She brings us this whole knew world full of people who we can't help but sympathize with and learn from all at the same time. Asphodel become not only a safe haven but a world of nightmares as well.
Astrea the main charter is torn between her duty to her people and her duty to herself. she wants nothing more than to live life as she chooses but because of a prophecy before she was born all her choices are taken from her, what kind of job she will have, who she will marry. Her people lives are dictated by computability of their zodiac signs like their friend and their matches, Astrea's match however is her total opposite but because of the prophecy they are going to be matched together weather they like it or not.
When Astrea finds a man in the Asphodel caves she keeps him a secret from everyone including her match Lexon. But when Astrea learns her life may be in danger she and Lexon devise a plan to escape Asphodel and fight back at the evil that wants to see the prophecy fail and take all their loved ones with it.
I loved the brilliant imagery depicted in this story as I felt like I was inside it every min of the story. the characters where amazing and Lexon was my fav of all of them. It was a truly beautiful story and I can't wait to read more of it!
