Welcome to Nocturne Falls, the town where Halloween is celebrated 365 days a year. The tourists think it's all a show: the vampires, the werewolves, the witches, the occasional gargoyle flying through the sky. But the supernaturals populating the town know better. Living in Nocturne Falls means being yourself. Fangs and all.
After seeing her maybe-mobster boss murder a guy, Delaney James assumes a new identity and pretends to be a mail order bride. What she doesn't know is her groom to be is a 400-year-old vampire.
Hugh Ellingham has only agreed to the set up to make his overbearing grandmother happy. His past means love is no longer an option. Except he never counted on Delaney and falling in love for real.
Too bad both of them are keeping some mighty big secrets

This was a amazing read! Kristen blows it out of the water with this new series! I couldn't put it down! The romance the intrigue the characters the town! I don't know what to say is my say is my most fav as everything is soooooo good!..lol...I would move to Nocturne falls in a second if it was real! *sigh* why can't it be real!
Kristen is one of the best writers I have ever had a chance to work with and I am never disappointed in anything she does. Her work blows me away ever time! she isn't afried to put herself out there and she isn't afried to ask for help. Her characters are inspiring, relatable and always kickass....lol...as well as her storylines. I am always excited to get one of her stories and always excited to be a part of the process.
This new book was no different! Vampires, Wares, Witches, Fae, Gargoyles and more all living in secret but not with humans in one town where its always Halloween. This place is a total dream..lol... and throw in a mail order bride for a vampire hottie...lol...perfect! its like Kristen wrote this book from my dreams...lol
don't miss out on this new series!

Getting arrested wasn’t on werewolf Ivy Kincaid’s agenda when she arrived in Nocturne Falls, but her life rarely goes according to plan. The upside of spending the night in the local lock-up is finding a hotel room is no longer a worry...but the downside is the man she’s come to marry will get his first impression of her behind bars. Not exactly the way Ivy was hoping to meet her pack's sworn enemy...aka her fiancé.
Sheriff (and werewolf) Hank Merrow is the alpha's heir. Everything he's ever done, from becoming an Army Ranger to serving in law enforcement, has been in preparation for the day he’ll take over. Getting married to cement a shaky truce is no different. Hank will do his duty, even if it means shackling himself to a woman he has no intention of liking, let alone loving.
But Ivy is nothing like Hank expected. As feisty as she is beautiful, she's as determined as he is to make a go of marriage for the sake of peace between their packs. The trouble is, Ivy has secrets that could destroy everything Hank holds dear...including his newfound love for her.

The Werewolf Meets His Match by Kristen PainterMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book Was Given To Me By The Author In Exchange For An Honest Review
This Read is amazing! Kristen Blows us all away again in this second book in the series! I couldn't put it down for a second! sexy werewolf sheriff finally meets his match! Kristen couldn't have told it better! I loved Ivy Kincaid she was just the kind of wolf that the sheriff needed. what I love most about Kristens books is the danger, the intrigue, the mystery, and the amazing twists and turns that she loves to throw into the story. The amazing realism that she brings to each and everyone of her characters as well is perfect so that even though you know your in a story it doesn't feel like one.
My favourite part of the story was how everyone treated and protected Ivy's little boy. It made it an even more beautiful and wonderful story with him init and made Hank and even better character I think. Aunt Birdie is a hoot and I love her character to pieces in this one!...lol
Kristen is an amazing writer and I love all of her work! this new series is incredible! I so can't wait to see what happens in this town next! maybe a sexy librarian? or a Photographer will come to town?...lol...anyway don't miss out on this succulent series! cause if you do you are so missing out!
