freaking amazing book! if I could give it more then 5 stars I would I couldn't put the book down from start to finish I was intrigued, held captive and totally in love with this book! I loved all the different powers in this book it brought a new element to the story and gave it life. My favorite character was Kale I loved how he saw the world, kind of like a child does when it sees the world for the first time, it brought a magical and whimsical feel to the story.
17 year old Dez Cross's whole life changes the night a gorgeous boy falls at her feet quite literally. She is sure that bringing him home to piss off her dad is the perfect thing to do, after all that is the only way to get any reaction out of her father these days, however the plans backfire when it turns out that her father head of the Denazen Corporation—an organization devoted to collecting “special” kids known as Sixes and using them as weapons.
Dez and Kale go on the run together dodging guns, tranq darts, men in jump suits and much more. Kale isn't a regular guy either for some reason he showers in his shoes, has no idea what DVD's are and looks at the world like a boy seeing it for the first time. Also his touch it kills! everything except Dez for some reason. why the hell is that? Dez has a feeling it has to do with a secret she has been keeping, one that will make her father stand up and finally take notice. So now she is going in, in to Denazen undercover to rescue her mother and she isn't going to stop till she brings the whole corporation down.
Jus Accardo is a wonderfully superb writer who makes you live right in the story bit by bit, whose graphic imagery lets you see, smell and taste the the life that your reading. I couldn't get enough of the book and never wanted it to end. I can't wait to devour the next book!

very good little short for in between stories. I loved hearing the story through Kale's eyes. He takes such wonderful care of Dez and he loves her so much. I loved getting to see more into his character and his life trapped in the care of the Denazen Corp. I cant wait to read more in the story.
this story is about Kale and Dez and their trip to hunt down people on the list during the summer.
they stop and meet Kiernan a girl who has the power to camouflage herself into her surroundings, rendering her invisible, however before they can get Kiernan to safety the Denazen Corporation shows up and they are on the run again. defiantly never a dull moment in the life of a six.

Until he met Dez, Kale’s days were filled with violence and death. He was used as a weapon of destruction by the power hungry men of Denazen. He’s a Six. A person with an abnormal ability. Some people call them gifts, but not Kale. Kale’s touch means instant death.
But now there’s Dez, the girl he can touch, and they’re hunting down Sixes and warning them about Denazen. Kale is learning about the world outside captivity and trying to put his dark past behind him. But they underestimated how badly Denazen wanted him back.
When Dez sacrifices herself to save the new Six they’d rescued from falling into the corp’s hands, Kale is lost. Denazen has brought out its best to get the job done. Samsen, a nightmare from Kale’s past—the only person he’s ever truly feared—has come for them, and it soon becomes obvious he has his own twisted agenda.
Kale will need all his training to get Dez back and ensure they make it out, free—and alive. But will it be enough?
When a Six saved Kale's life the night of Sumrun, she warned there would be consequences. A trade-off. Something taken for the life they gained. But Dez never imagined she'd lose the one thing she'd give anything to keep... And as if it's not enough Dez finds her immunity to Kale fading, the Six brought in to help Kale learn to control his killer touch starts drooling on him the moment they meet. Worse than that? Jade can touch Kale. But bimbo Barbie is the least of Dez's problems.
After Dez and Kale got away at Sumrun, her father lost not only his most powerful weapon but an important piece of the Supremacy project. Forced by Denazen to remedy the situation, he poisons Dez and offers her a choice--surrender to Denazen for the cure...or die. Determined to find a solution that doesn't involve being bagged and tagged--or losing someone she loves--Dez keeps the poison a secret. But when a rash of Denazen attacks hit a little too close to home, Dez is convinced there's a traitor among them. Jade.
Sacrifices, broken promises, and secrets. Dez will have to lay it all on the line if there's any hope of proving Jade's guilt before they all end up Residents of Denazen. Or worse, dead..

When a strange boy tumbles down a river embankment and lands at her feet, seventeen-year-old adrenaline junkie Deznee Cross snatches the opportunity to piss off her father by bringing the mysterious hottie with ice blue eyes home.
Except there’s something off with Kale. He wears her shoes in the shower, is overly fascinated with things like DVDs and vases, and acts like she’ll turn to dust if he touches her. It’s not until Dez’s father shows up, wielding a gun and knowing more about Kale than he should, that Dez realizes there’s more to this boy—and her father’s “law firm”—than she realized.
Kale has been a prisoner of Denazen Corporation—an organization devoted to collecting “special” kids known as Sixes and using them as weapons—his entire life. And, oh yeah, his touch? It kills. The two team up with a group of rogue Sixes hellbent on taking down Denazen before they’re caught and her father discovers the biggest secret of all. A secret Dez has spent her life keeping safe.
A secret Kale will kill to protect.

WOW! 100/100 stars! I totally loved this book and never wanted it to end! and almost cried when it did!this was prob my favorite book so far in the series, I really, really, really loved the first one but this one knocked my socks off! I would go as far as to say it is my favorite book of the year so far!
In this book Dez and Kale learn the price that they have to pay for saving Kale's life back in Touch is going to be much harder to cope with then they thought and Ginger the resident "Queen" of Sixes thinks that Jade, a six with the ability to ground harmful gifts, is the answer to Kale and Dez's problem. Dez thinks that Jade just wants to steal her boyfriend and is working undercover for the Denazen Corporation, while Kale will do just about anything to learn to master his gift, except go back to Denazen. To make matters worse Dez has a new secret she has been keeping one that is very bad and one that is a ticking time bomb waiting to go off waiting to destroy them all.
This book was amazing! there were some really awesome new bad guys and some great plot twists ones I never saw coming and I usually know how a story is going to end before it gets there. The characters are fantastic and so real that you are sucked in from the moment you start to the moment you finish and reality sets back in and you realize it is all over. superb reading! recommend to one and all!!!!
