WW4BB Presents: A Review of Vision by Lisa Amowitz

Posted by wiccawitch4 on 7:49:00 am

VISION, BOOK ONE OF THE FINDER SERIES:

The light is darker than you think…

High school student Bobby Pendell already has his hands full—he works almost every night to support his disabled-vet father and gifted little brother. Then he meets the beautiful new girl in town, who just happens to be his boss’s daughter. Bobby has rules about that kind of thing. Nothing matters more than keeping his job

When Bobby starts to get blinding migraines that come with scary, violent hallucinations, his livelihood is on the line. Soon, he must face the stunning possibility that the visions of murder are actually real. With his world going dark, Bobby is set on the trail of the serial killer terrorizing his small town. With everyone else convinced he’s the prime suspect, Bobby realizes that he, or the girl he loves, might be killer's next victim.

My Review

Vision by Lisa Amowitz
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What an amazing story I couldn't get enough! once again Lisa plasters us to our seats with this thrilling tale about a boy who sees Visions of grisly deaths and searches for a killer only he can "see".

I have always been a BIG fan of Lisa's work and I have to say stories like this is why. Lisa's talent shines through in this incredible tale. I laughed, I cried and don't tell anyone but I might of screamed out loud a little here and there...lol....it had all the greatest elements of an amazing Thriller movie where you hide behind your pillow to avoid the scary parts, of course with a book it is harder to do that as when you close your eyes the story cuts out..lol...I got threw it though and so did my pillow. ;)

The characters where amazing and the storyline superb! the villain in the story was incredible and Lisa couldn't have done a better job! I thought I knew what was going on right up til the end when it totally blew me out of the water who the killer was! so way to go Lisa! I always get the ending before hand, Never could I have imagined a plot as twisted and unique so congrats!

My fav character was Coco. He was a unique and interesting character. Loyal, funny and the best friend you could count on. Bobby of course was the greatest in the book, the ultimate hero, of course he wouldn't say so as he is way to humble for that but he did save the day. I would love to see a sequel to this Lisa!

if you haven't read this amazing story do so now! Lisa's talent will amaze you! it comes out today so get your copies now!

Author Bio:

Lisa Amowitz was born in Queens and raised in the wilds of Long Island, New York where she climbed trees, thought small creatures lived under rocks and studied ant hills. And drew. A lot. She is a professor of Graphic Design at her beloved Bronx Community College where she has been tormenting and cajoling students for nearly seventeen years. She started writing eight years ago because she wanted something to illustrate, but somehow, instead ended up writing YA. Probably because her mind is too dark and twisted for small children. Lisa is represented by Shannon Hassan of Marsal-Lyon Literary Agency. shannon@marsallyonliteraryagency.com

BREAKING GLASS, released in July, 2013 from Spencer Hill Press, is her first published work. VISION, the first of the Finder series will be released in 2014.
