Series: Broken Skies #1
Release date: March
2014
Self-Published
Thirty years ago, there was the Collapse. A massive war
fought with biological weapons and followed by plague. Almost everyone
died.
Ten years ago, the aliens showed up. They made one of
our cities their own and that's where they stay, for the most part
anyway.
One year ago, I killed two men and went a little
crazy.
Today, the aliens took my brother and I will do whatever
it takes to get him back even if it means partnering up with the enemy, an alien
boy who makes me think things I shouldn't and makes me feel things I don’t
understand.

Broken Skies by Theresa Kay
Excellent Book! Theresa Kay is a brilliant writer who immediately sweeps you up into her story. Her stories have the feeling of real life and her characters the feeling of extraordinary people. I had such an amazing time reading this I never wanted the story to end!
Jax and her twin brother Jace haven't exactly had it easy since the Collapse. Most of the worlds population has been wiped out and what is left is corrupt, dangerous and not a place two kids on their own want to be.
When the Aliens came ten years ago, they didn't much bother to get to know us and no one really knows why they are here. When they took my brother, they didn't ask either, and I am going to get him back. When he was taken a beautiful green haired, green eyed, beautiful alien boy helped me get away, or so he says, I don't much trust him but if it helps get my brother back, I am willing to team up with the enemy.
Theresa Kay does such amazing work! My fav character was Jax, she was so spunky and didn't take crap from almost anyone one, even when it would get her into trouble when it most usually did...lol
I highly recommend this book to one and all! TBR it today!
