Wow! Amazing book! the love and the heartbreak was so real you feel it deep in your soul as you are reading. I couldn't put the book down for a second! This is a truly epic love story full of magic, and romance, and where battles are fought and heroes are the ones who stand up and fight the fight even if they are sure to loose.
Joclyn Despain lives a life in shadow and misery after a tragic past of a strange coma that leaves a fiery brand upon her skin and her father leaving her because he just can't deal. Her one bright spot Ryland La Rue, smart, funny and undeniably gorgeous, he is her rock, her best friend and the only person who really understands her in the whole world. When Rylands feeling of friendship change into something more Joclyn is terrified, will this ruin the beautiful thing between them or will it make it better?
Ryland La Rue lives a live of pain and suffering at the hands of his scheming manipulative father. His one bright spot has always been his beautiful friendship with Joclyn, but lately he has begun to see her in a new way and he longs to be with her every min of every day. His father however doesn't approve of the friendship and for many years has tried to tare them apart. Not only that but there is many skeletons in the La Rue family household, would Joclyn still love him if she ever found out?
fourced to see each other in secret, Ryland and Joclyn take any moment they can together till one fateful night when Ryland sees Joclyns mark and Ryland knows she is the one that they have been searching for. afried for her life he makes her run, run to the only others that maybe able to help and keep her safe. will they ever see each other again?
No matter what Joclyn is determined to get Ryland back, and she is going to get her new friends to help. For love is a powerful thing when put to the test.
I loved this book so much! I can't wait to read more of the story! Rebecca Ethington is a marvellous writer who makes you feel each and every emotion throughout the entire book. I felt myself becoming so sad to get the end of the book because I didn't want it to be over.
The Characters where amazing and the bad guys fantastic! My favourites where whyn for the good guys and Cail for the bad guys. Whyn was the greatest when it came to comfort and the true loyalty of a friend and Cail was completely the opposite ...lol...cruel, nasty and down right unlovable. He did and said things time and time again that made me want to get in the book and beat his butt!....lol...he was defiantly a rotten person!
If you haven't read this book you sooooo MUST! TBR it today!
