Posted by wiccawitch4 on 5:56:00 am

Synopsis

Julianne Becker has a choice to make between love and history. She needs two men in her life, but ultimatums and secrets are forcing her to choose.

Nick Matthews has a choice to make with potential costs that will put Julianne in temptation’s way. Since He Really Feels what he does for Julianne, can Nick put aside his fears to ensure that the past doesn’t destroy the future he has always wanted?

Travis Miller thought he made his choice, but obligations may just push out the best thing that’s ever happened to him. Since He Really Feels allegiance to his family, can Travis keep his past and present from colliding?

Julianne and Nick know they should form a united front and make these decisions together, but knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things. Will Travis’s presence in their life pull them together or push them apart?

This is the passionate and emotional concluding book of the He Feels Trilogy.

Excerpt

I walked into his office and stood on the opposite side of his desk from him. “Nick, you know I choose you. I can’t live without you. I love you, and I can’t wait to become your wife.”
He gazed at me for a long moment, and then the corners of his mouth tipped up into a small smile. “My wife,” he repeated.
He stood up from his chair, the leather squeaking as he rose. He walked over to the door and shut it. Eric and Josh, Nick’s roommates, were around somewhere, both getting ready to move out by the end of the month, and clearly Nick wanted privacy. With me.
After he shut the door, he stalked over to me. “My wife,” he whispered again, taking me in his arms.
“Let’s not fight,” I pleaded.
“Let’s never fight again,” he murmured.
“Deal,” I said, and I pressed my lips to his. The familiar buzz zipped through my spine as his mouth took mine aggressively. I loved the way his tongue moved sensually against mine, and the slow burn in my belly made its way down as desire overtook every sensation in my body and every thought in my mind.
God, I had missed him. I had missed this intimacy, this connection with him.
His electric fingertips danced across my skin slowly, leaving a burning tingle in their wake. He found the hem of my shirt and lifted it over my head, tossing it on the floor next to us and then removing his own before his lips crashed back down over mine. He unsnapped my bra with one hand as the other hand pressed into the small of my back. The feeling of his fingertips across my skin was utter perfection.
He was truly an expert at seduction, and he was mine.
Forever.

Review

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I so love this series! Lisa has done it again and wowed us all with this exciting conclusion to her he feels series. I couldn't put it down and I loved how Lisa tied it all up beautifully! it did seem touch and go there for awhile and I didn't think any of it would work out at all! wow talk about twists and turns! I was pleasantly surprised at how it all worked out in the end especially after all the crazy twists but have to say that it was brilliantly done!

Lisa is brilliant at making you laugh, cry, throw things and freak out all in one book. your constantly on the edge of your seat never knowing what is coming around the corner next. I absolutely love everything about her work and if you haven't read her stories yet you for sure are missing out!

Both Nick and Travis are hot as hell in this one and it is no wonder the girl has problems like seriously! I really liked Lindsey she is spunky and sassy and I would so be friends with her...lol

If you haven't read the series yet, well then what are you waiting for!!! and if you have make sure this one is one your TBR list cause it is one you don't want to miss out on!

Julianne Becker is deeply and crazily in love with her new boss Nick Matthews although she knows that he prob wouldn't think of her that way. She spends every min thinking about him and about ways for them to do things together at work just so she can spend as much time in his presence as possible. After a year of working together Julianne thinks that she will be forever thought of as a friend until New Years Eve and an romantic unexpected Kiss!

When Julianne finds out that Nick might feel the same way about her, her whole like changes over night and she never thought it could be better then this! until someone at work finds out about their relationship and now their jobs and their love is on the line. My Review

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really liked this book! I loved the characters and the story was great! book 1 was so beautiful and romantic but it left me feeling so sorry for Travis and I wanted to know what was next for him. I really liked Travis's character in the first book and I was sorry that he wasn't the one for her. In this one however WOW!...LOL...for all of its tremendous heartbreak for it practically drips from the pages! the steamy scenes make the pages sizzle! there is quite no other romance storyteller like Lisa!

After the aftermath of his heartbreaking breakup with his long-time off again and on again girlfriend/best friend Jules, Travis feels that it is time to set his life on a new path. His father has some openings at their firm in San Diego and Travis is hopping on the first chance out of here.
Before he goes however his buddies take him for one more night out one the town to say goodbye, a fateful night that as it turns out could change his life forever.

When Travis meets a mysterious and exotic beauty at the bar he is sure that he has never met anyone so beautiful and sexy before and after the most incredible and amazing night of his life she leaves without even telling him her name. Lost and hurting over not only Jules betrayal but now this mystery woman as well Travis tries to move on with his life in San Diego until on fateful day when at a party he bumps into none other then his mystery girl!

Now Travis has to make the hardest choice of his life, does he move on with his life and fight for a new love and a new life he could have with his mystery girl? or does he fight for his first love? the woman that he has loved all of his life.

Wonderful Story! I found Travis to be a little whinny and mystery girl really annoying at some parts but it was what made them see more like real people because they weren't perfect and they didn't really try to be.

if you haven't read this series yet defiantly TBR it! (for mature audiences only)

My Review

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I don't know what it was about this book but it didn't really speak to me. it was well written and it had a great story but for some reason I just didn't connect with the story or the characters. I found the technical stuff in the book kind of boring me and it was hard to get passed but the romance was good.

Braxton is a great writer and I really wish I could have connected with the story more. It was just to futuristic and technical for me I guess.

EXCERPT

White light surrounded her and rushing air roared in her ears. Distantly, she heard Lily screaming. And then something soft crushed into her.

Gasping, Ashley sat up. She was in the vegetable garden, Lily clutching her hand. Frantically, she scrambled to her feet, searching for her father.

Masked men surrounded him.

With a cry, she tried to run to him. Lily hauled on her arm, holding her back with terror in her eyes.

Through the circle, another man approached. Amid the ski masks and rifles, his business suit and uncovered face stood in sharp contrast. Firelight played off his dark hair, turning his eyes into shadowed pits and chiseling his face in strange relief. Several inches taller than anyone around him, he towered like a giant over her father on the ground.

In spite of everything, Patrick tried to stand. Fury surged past the pain on his face, and his hand rose as if to strike the man.

The giant scoffed, and his fingers twitched as though flicking away a fly. Patrick gasped. His back arched sharply. And then he crashed to the ground and didn’t move again.

Ashley couldn’t breathe.

This wasn’t happening.

A smile curled the giant’s mouth as he looked toward the girls in the vegetable garden.

“Get them,” he ordered.

Like unleashed hunting dogs, the men charged.

The sight shattered her paralysis. Ripping her gaze from her father, Ashley spun. Yanking Lily behind her, she tore across the tilled soil, choking back a sob as the soft earth sucked at her feet, slowing her down.

She reached the edge of the garden and took off across the field with no idea of where to go. Lily clung to her, and she could hear the girl crying. Thelma’s house was an eternity away, and she couldn’t see the woman’s porch light. The farmhands’ house was dark. No one had emerged this whole time.

Tears burned her eyes.

She kept running.

Headlights surged over the rise at the edge of the property. With a shriek, Ashley tried to turn, her feet sliding from beneath her on the grass. Lily slammed into her and frantically, Ashley grabbed the girl and shoved her to the side.

Lily rolled away.

Ashley didn’t have time to move.
The car roared straight at her.

Title: Taliesin Ascendant

The war isn’t over. And new enemies await.

Life on the run hasn’t been easy, but so far, Ashe has survived. But now Carter has ordered her away from the Hunters to find her family’s people – an order she can’t refuse, no matter how much she wants to stay.

Following his command will bring her into an unknown world, however – a world filled with new enemies and old prejudices that will demand more of her than she can imagine, at a cost higher than she’ll ever be willing to pay.

Taliesin Ascendant is equally as pulse-pounding as The Children and the Blood. I felt there was fantastic character development combined with the spine-tingling suspense and action. Oh, all the intrigue!” – Brandee ‘Bookworm Brandee’

Things unfold but you still know there's more to the story that you don't know. It's very unique writing and an absolute high speed, action packed adventure that you're traveling on with the main characters.” – Carey ‘Toot’s Book Reviews’

Title: Merlin's Children

The stakes of the war have never been higher. But what will be the cost to win?

Ashe knows loss, knows sacrifice and pain. Her allies are scattered and too many lie dead. The Blood are stronger than ever and more connected than she could have imagined.

But the worst is yet to come. The war has taken so many people she loves.
Now it just might take everyone who’s left.

This final book in the trilogy was every bit as thrilling as the first two. I was so tense - flying through the pages to learn who would survive, who would betray whom, which characters would finally put their trust in the right people. It was nail-biting suspense.” – Brandee ‘Bookworm Brandee’

My Review

Spirit Seeker by Jamie Haden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I love love love this series! Jamie Haden is a full on magnificent writer! and I can't thank you enough for this series. Being from a native american family the stories the culture and the art have been a big thing in my life and this series brings it all out to play. shape-shifting lore goes back many many centuries in native american cultures and has always been one of my most favourite of all native stories.

I really enjoyed all the different angles the story portrayed as well jumping around from different legends and stories and not centring on just one group or people. I loved the fact that it was a school as well where they all learned and interacted with each other and ever year they held their very own pow wow! that would be the the best!

each and every one of the characters were amazing and I couldn't put the book down for a second! I could literally go on and on about this series all day long! My fav character in this one was Jax, he is so mysterious, sexy and way complicated. You can tell that beneath his hard shell though is the heart of a wounded boy who is crying out for someone to see him as worthy and to love him.

you so don't want to miss out on this book or this series! I so can't wait for more! TBR today!

My Review

Illuminate-Alive, She Cried by Jamie Haden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

if I could I would give this book more then 5 stars! I would give it 10! or 100! this second book was even better then the first. Jamie Haden is incredibly amazing! she blows us all away with her amazing talent! I would have to say this is the best series I have read this year!

Talisa goes off to a secret native american tribe for her own safety in this one. the stories and the realism are astounding, the people beautiful and inspiring and more then one time I found myself laughing, crying and frightened at the many twists and turns throughout the story.

The people were so much of a family in this one were they were just friends in the first. They came to learn about and love one another as if they had been together from birth. My favourite character in this one was Dakota. He was so sexy, loving, gentle, and sweet.

You don't wan't to miss out on this series! make sure to TBR today!
