A WW4BB Spotlight Reveal: Romancing the Bookworm by Kate Evangelista

Posted by wiccawitch4 on 7:28:00 am

Title: Romancing the Bookworm
Author: Kate Evangelista
Release date: July 9, 2013
Publisher: Omnific Publishing
Age Group: New Adult
Genre: Contemporary romance
Tour organized by: AToMR Tours

Warning Sizzling Sexual Content!"

Book Description

Sometimes, even the best-laid plans can unravel.

It's spring break, and Tamara Winters would rather stay on campus and read romance novels than flaunt her size-fourteen body on a beach. But her best friend, Rony, has other ideas. Against her wishes, Tamara is whisked away to picturesque Maverick Bay, where she's wrangled into waiting tables with Rony at the Shore Shack for its busy week leading to Maverick's Surf Invitational. There she meets fellow schoolmate Xavier Solomon, the Invitational's organizer and campus womanizer by reputation. From the moment Tamara sees him emerging from the waves like a hero in of one of her romance novels, all she wants to do is run away from the feelings he inspires in her.

Little does she know Xavier has been watching her for weeks now. In fact, after failed attempts at asking her out on campus, he's concocted a crazy plan: fabricating romantic situations straight out of her favorite books. Xavier quickly realizes that if Tamara gets a whiff of his designs, he might as well spell CREEPER across his forehead. Yet as they grow closer, he's convinced it's a risk worth taking. What he hasn't planned on, of course, is his drug-addicted, alcoholic stepbrother, who decides to join the fun and put a wrench in Xavier’s scheme.

Spring break is proving hotter than Tamara expected. Will her romance novels be able to compete?

My Review

Romancing the Bookworm by Kate Evangelista
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow Amazing book! Kate totally rocked it with this romantic story I couldn't put it down! the characters where witty and charming and more then once I found myself laughing out loud to their antics and comments. I was immediately pulled into the story and from the first page and loved every minute spent with the characters.

Tamara Winters loves nothing but curling up with a good steaming romance novel, why? because real life is just to hard some times and after the death of her mother Tamara just finds life in a book so much simpler. That is until her crazy friend Ronnie decides to kidnap her and drag her to Maverick Bay for spring break, where she will be waiting tables at Ronnies brothers Snack Shack. As Tamara contemplates the disparaging summer ahead of her out of the water walks the most gorgeous and dreamy man she has ever laid eyes on outside of a book!

Xavier Solomon is anything but perfect but he has concocted the perfect plan to get the beautiful and stubborn Tamara Winters to Maverick Bay. After all his plans on Campus to get her to notice him have failed he just knows that the Solomon Invitational Surfing competition and all its amazing events are sure to get her to notice him. What he wasn't planning on however was his past and his brother getting in the way. will he ever get a chance to show Tamara what he is really made of?

I loved this book! I loved each and every one of its characters and I especially have a big old soft spot for Tamara! she was shy but at the same time could still give you what for if needed and she loved herself for who she was. I loved that she always had her nose in a book she reminded me of me that way...lol....as I too read way too many books and sometimes it takes me away from other things.

Kate you did a wonderful job on this book and I commend you for it! it was amazing, honest and heartwarming. It made me laugh, cry and laugh and cry again...lol...I loved every page! Brilliant work Kate! A must read for all you summer sizzler readers out there! for there are some steamy scenes in this one...lol

WW4BB Presents: A Fea Books 4000 Likes Giveaway!

Posted by wiccawitch4 on 7:09:00 am

Fae Books 4K Likes Giveaway

Hi there, I'm Sarah Fae from FaeBooks.co.uk and I'm celebrating reaching an amazing 4000 Likes on my Facebook page

If you haven't heard of Fae Books before, here's a little introduction to tell you what I'm all about and what sort of stuff goes on in the Fae Books world.

As I've said, I'm Sarah Fae, you can find me on Facebook as Sarah Fae Graham. I'm going on 25, I'm married and live with my husband, Shane - who is my full time carer as well as a full time Soldier - our two Bichon Frise dogs, Trixie & Teddy and our three cats, Simba, Horace and Squirt. I live in England, in the UK. Ahh, sunny England by the sea... I joke of course, it mostly rains, I also live in an Army Garrison. I'm disabled, wheelchair user, I'm in really bad health too so I take a lot of medication to get through my days. Anyway, enough about that...

I spend my days keeping everything behind the scenes of Fae Books running, booking in new tours for companies and organizations that I host for, as well as preparing to launch my own FREE introductory book tours. (If you'd like to be a Tour Host for Fae Books like this fabulous blogger may have, just click here).

About 50% of my work is promoting. Promoting myself as a writer, promoting Fae Books and everyone I work with. Anyone with any kind of business, authors or bloggers etc will tell you, the hardest bit is promoting your product/work and doing it in the right places at the right times, that takes a lot of time and dedication in itself. I often don't get any sleep at all for several days in a row, because I'll be up working all the time. My Husband says I'm a Workaholic, I do kind of agree with him, but don't tell him that! Lol.

I'm addicted to giveaways, running them that is (I rarely get time to enter any lol). I love to give back to the bookish community and I love the people that help me to be able to do that, so you'll often find a bunch of giveaways over at FaeBooks.co.uk. Sometimes the prizes are donated by others (writers, authors etc), but I also provide prizes myself, and post a lot of prizes out. Sometimes authors send me a bunch of swag and I'll use that in my events to give away and promote them, then send out the prizes to the winners on a monthly basis. I used to try and post as soon as people won the prizes, but I just couldn't afford to do it that way, so now I post monthly, because that's when Hubby gets paid, so we have the cash to send it all out then. It's pretty expensive sending internationally all the time, but I prefer giveaways to be open worldwide so that anyone can enter. I don't like to push anyone out if I can help it. That's just my own way of doing it though.

I (and thus Fae Books) hang out on Twitter, as well as PinterestGoogle+, LinkedIn and I'm also hooked on Goodreads. I manage my entire TBR list on there, I use that to keep me on track with my reading. Speaking of reading, you may have guessed, I love to read. I'm really into my horror right now, but I love to read anything paranormal, supernatural, fantasy, and all of the above with any kind of romance in it too. I'll read anything that sounds good when I read the blurb and reviews, so I don't just stick to those genres.

I run a Reviewing Team over at Fae Books, I have a great bunch of 20+ girls who work with me and they review tonnes of books for writers that approach me looking for reviews. I also review too of course. I regularly take on new members to be part of the team, so if you ever fancy becoming part of it, just keep an eye out on the website and I'll put updates up when I'm taking on new members. The team and myself book up very quickly for reviews, and usually months in advance, so we only have something like four spots left available in 2013 for reviews, and we're only half way through the year! Busy, busy, busy.

So... To thank everyone for following the page and supporting my own dream as well as the writers, bloggers, authors, graphic designers and everyone else I'm lucky enough to work with, I've organized a mahoosive giveaway for you all.

I hope you like the list of prizes for this event. Everyone got involved in this, Authors, Bloggers, Crafters, Graphic Designers and more! So there are a bunch of amazing prizes for you to win!

Just take a look at the Rafflecopter form below and do each entry, following the folk who've made this giveaway possible is a great way to thank them and show support for what they do. Once you like all the first Facebook entries, more will open up so you can earn even more entries by following the rest of the Twitter and Facebook pages, as well as some extra entries I've left for you AND a chance to get 10 bonus entries when you complete everything in the list.

Best of luck with the giveaway, and don't forget to use all the entries you can, more entries means more chances to win!

Sarah Fae xXx

A WW4BB Review: Last Blood By Kristen Painter

Posted by wiccawitch4 on 1:14:00 pm

Last Blood by Kristen Painter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow! I just finished reading this and I am practically speechless! this book was so amazing it is hard to put it into words! I read it as slow as I could to savoir each word as I knew this was the last book and I didn't want it to be over but now that it is I am filled with contentment. Kristen did an amazing job at tying the series off there were no lose ends and it all ended beautifully and with a bang!..lol

In this book we pick up where we left off with Chrysabelle and Mal at odds. Chrysabelle must save or kill the man she loves to protect that which is even more important to her, a secret that not even Mal is aware of. She will do what she must to save him but if she can't she must kill him.

Meanwhile the ancients now need Tatiana help for the child they stole from her is now reeking havoc on them and must be stopped. Tatiana enlists the help of Mal with the child Lilith who isn't at all what she once was. Together they embark on a perilous mission.

With all hanging in the balance who will survive, who will die and will everyone stay on the same side? Who will be the one to draw Last Blood?

I loved this book! I couldn't put it down! I tried my hardest to read it slowly but it was sooo hard!..lol...Fi was my favourite in this one, she always makes me laugh and in this one was no exception

Like: "sounds awesomely not awesome. Only fae would name a bar after a fairy tale. What is it, one giant tea party?"

lol...she cracks me up! I really liked that we got to see more of her strong, independent and tender sides in this book as well.

Creek also had a few choice lines in this one that made me laugh out loud.

Like: "Somebody better start explaining or its going to get dusty in here."

lol...when he said that I couldn't help but laugh!

Kristen is a full on genius when it comes to writing and I am blessed to call her a friend. Her work is an inspiration and I can't wait to read her next book! if you haven't gotten your copy of Last Blood make sure to order yours now!

In the final showdown between the forces of dark and light, Mal and Chrysabelle face not only Tatiana, but the ancient evil that now controls her: the Castus Sanguis. Chrysabelle gathers her friends and family around her, forming a plan to bring an end to the chaos surrounding them. But the Castus is the most powerful being they've ever come up against. Defeating such evil will require a great sacrifice from someone on the side of light.

One of them will change sides. One of them will die. No one will survive unscathed. Can Chrysabelle save those she cares about or will that love get her killed? What price is she willing to pay to draw last blood?
